The accidentally discovered a treasure – his talent, and by refining it and surrounding himself with the right people it has brought him to the table of the great.

DA: What inspired you to venture into the entertainment industry?
M.C. Fish: What inspired me was that I’ve always wanted to put smiles on peoples faces. I love to entertain people and make sure they are in a good mood no matter what they are going through. This gives me a sense of fulfillment.

DA: When you discovered your talents, what steps did you take?
M.C. Fish: It was more like the talent discovered me. I was at a party and the MC slated for that event didn’t show up and there we were looking for who to anchor the show and I said; ‘what the heck? imma do this. That’s how it started.

DA: When did you receive a major breakthrough in your career?
M.C. Fish: It was when I got my first job with Hennessy as a hypeman, and that was the turning point of my career.

DA: What steps did you take to make ruudonline.com a Reality?
M.C. Fish: Ruudonline.com is a project of my very good friend DJ Ruud. He is a lovely guy and I know when he puts his vision into something its going to turn out massive, so that’s why I’m putting in effort too.

DA: Did you have to undergo any special training to run an online radio and manage talents?
M.C. Fish: Yes, I actually went through a lot of trainings and studies to make that a reality.

DA: What do you do to improve yourself daily and stay ahead in the industry?
M.C. Fish: What I do is that I just stay versatile and dynamic. The world evolves everyday so one has to keep evolving with the world, keeping up with trends and evolving with it.

DA: What is your advice to young entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry? Especially on how to get their work out there?
M.C. Fish: Well my advice is ‘do it for the passion first, the money will come later in large folds because the passion is what keeps you going when nothing seems to work. Its the passion that gets you through the hard times. So do it for passion first and every other reward will follow.
