Immanuel is a philosopher, a Catholic seminarian, a saxophonist and a gospel artist.
He just released his single debut Awe of grace, a calm song that empowers, rejuvenates, exhilarate and empowers you.
DA: What inspired you to go into music?
Immasax: I have always loved music since I was 6 years old, I have an elder brother who plays the piano and he has been my inspiration.
DA: What steps do you take daily to work on your voice and improve it?
Immasax: Actually I am a saxophonist but I decided to do a voicing and it turned out to be cool. A friend told me warm water therapy is good for the voice and I obliged.
DA: How did you start your music career?
Immasax: Started back in my alma mater, St. Kizito Minor Seminary. I remain grateful to our band back then – Divine Singers, a group of young teens who loved singing.
DA: What challenges did you face?
Immasax: I wrote this very track but it wasn’t easy. Sometimes the inspiration won’t just come.
DA: How did you overcome them?
Immasax: It wasn’t easy but I struggled to do a self emptying.
DA: Who is your mentor in the Music Industry?
Immasax: That would be Don Moen anytime. He has always been my mentor.
DA: How did you raise funds for your first album?
Immasax: It’s my single debut, couldn’t meet up with the demands to release an album at the moment. It will come when the money comes.
DA: How can we reach you?
Immasax: My social media handles are available.
